Customer Questions:
What are some of the design features of the Unger Cone? Firstly, it has a large screw thread at the end that is common to a number of telescopic poles. Secondly, this screw thread will fit a wide range of dusting accessories and DIY tools. Also, the tapered flutes are designed to provide a push-fit to a wide range of window cleaning and dusting tools. Lastly, the ErgoTec safety cone gives positive locking of other ErgoTec and Ninja tools in the range.
What tools and accessories are availble to clean windows? You might use individual tools like ErgoTec Handle with a Channel, and a Ninja T Bar and Sleeve. Or might choose a combined squeegee and applicator.
Can I mix & match poles, accessories and tools? Yes and no. Some accessories and tools do fit poles of another make. However, this is not guaranteed. To avoid disappointment, we recommend buying the same brand tools and accessories as the same brand as your pole.
Can I get spare parts for my pole? Yes, replacement end cones are normally available from stock. Contact us regarding Base caps.
Helpful Information:
Are there any special safety precautions I need to take while using the pole? Yes, when using this or any other Aluminium or Steel pole care needs to be taken to avoid overhead power lines and cables. Metal is an excellent electrical conductor and contact with an electrical source could result in serious injury or death from electrocution. Also do not this or other poles in an electrical storm, as being struck by lightning can likewise cause series injury or death.
