Streamline Nylon Hoselock Adapter, a connector with a male Hoselock at one end. Also a choice of either a female 1/2"BSP or 3/4" BSP connection.. Includes sealing washers. Often used as an outside tap connector.

Does this fitting have a non-return valve mechanism? No, it is a simple straight through connection
Do I need to use PTFE tape on the BSP thread? In most applications the internal seal makes it water tight. However PTFE tape is available if required.
What pressure can I use for this fitting? It is not a high pressure fitting. It can work at domestic water mains pressure. Additionally, it is suitable for water fed window cleaning systems that normally work up to about 100psi.
