Streamline Connector 1/2″NPT Male to 3/8″NPT Male. Plus, they are made from durable Nylon. Also, this part is often used with Streamflo and Shurflo female ported water pumps.
Product Information:
Streamline Connector 1/2"NPT Male to 3/8"NPT Male. Additionally, when this part is used in the female ports of Streamflo and Shurflo pumps, the male 1/2"NPT thread will be very useful. Firstly, it can be used to connect to a strainer on the inlet side of the pump. Secondly, it can be used to connect to an elbow or straight fitting on the delivery side of the pump.

Helpful Information
:Also, this product is often used with PTFE tape to provide a water tight seal. Although, as this is a taper thread it should not be necessary for you to use PTFE tape to prevent water leaking. However, if you find that it does leak, then it will be worth you using some PTFE tape to prevent water leaks.
Additionally, as an alternative to this product, a 3/8"NPT elbow fitting is also available, shown below.
