What can I do with a Pulex MicroTiger Sleeve? You can use it to apply the soapy water used to clean windows. Soapy water is removed by a Squeegee.

Using The Sleeve:

Do I need anything else apart from the Sleeve? Yes, you need a T Bar. The Sleeve is fitted over the T Bar of the same size. You will also need a Squeegee - this is used to remove the liquid from the window. A cloth or scrim may be required to wipe around the edges of the window to remove an excess water. To finish, we suggest another cloth is used to wipe the sill.

How do I use the sleeve: With the Sleeve fitted to a T Bar. Make up a solution of detergent. Unger SYR and Ettore all make good detergents for cleaning windows. An Oblong Bucket makes wetting the applicator easier for you. First, wet the sleeve by immersing it in detergent. Remove the excess detergent (many window cleaners do this by running their hand along the applicator). The applicator should not be dripping. Rub the sleeve all over the window to cover the glass.

Now you can use the pad on the end of the sleeve to remove any stubborn marks or bird droppings. Then rub the sleeve against the window - up and down, from side to side, in a circular motion covering the window in suds. When all the dirt is loose, use a squeegee to remove the detergent. Repeat if necessary. Finally, when the window is clean wipe any excess detergent away.

What Size Do I Need?

How do I choose the right size of Pulex MicroTiger Sleeve? The most popular size is 35cm 14", this is suitable for many windows. As a guide, the larger the window, the larger the applicator. Georgian style windows may use smaller applicators while patio doors (the smallest Pulex MicroTiger is 10" 25cm), offices and shops require bigger applicators (18" 45cm). So, it saves time to get the right size applicator for the right size of window.
