What are the differences between the stop and open options?  Firstly, the open flow option means that the water flows freely through the connector. However the stop version prevents the water flowing unless it is connected to another fitting.

How does it work? An internal plunger prevents water flowing and hopefully leaking when it is not connected to another fitting. It also helps to reduce water wastage.

Can I use this fitting on 13mm bore garden hose? No, if you need a fitting for 13mm garden hose, then use Claber CONNECTOR.

Where can I use this connector? Firstly, these fittings are usually used on the hose fitted to a hose reel. Secondly, this connector will fit other hoselock male fittings such as the Streamline Connector Hoselock male, the popular fitting used on water fed pole hoses.
