Helpful Information: Hoselock Connector
Use PTFE tape on the BSP screw threads to achieve a water tight seal. Also, replacement O Rings are available as spare parts.
Additionally, when fitting to a DI Vessel do not screw the fitting in to far to the manifold, as this will prevent the Hoselock from working correctly.

Which of the two options, Brass or Nylon, are best? Although virtually identical in performance, the Brass fittings tend to be be more durable. However, there are applications, such as Softwashing, where the additional chemical resistance of the Nylon fitting is an advantage.
