What’s Happening?

It’s a fair question to ask. With the on going economic problems in the world, you may have asked yourself that very question. In this blog we will keep you update on pricing, availability and product updates. We will try to regularly update this page as information from manufactures becomes available. You will notice that we have broken down the information by individual manufacturer. What’s happening is worth keeping an eye on.

Carpet Cleaning:

Chemspec:

  • Availability is generally good although delivery issues have been caused by products being imported from USA.
  • Pricing: New prices were introduced from 1st August 2022.
  • News: A new catalogue is now available, however Formula 161 Carpet Shampoo is no longer available. A number of products are now being made in the UK and the bottle sizes will change as a result. Also, a new flat carpet dryer has been introduced, called the Velo.

Prochem:

  • Availability is generally good with a few short delays on some products
  • Pricing: An significant price increase has been announced and will be applied in January 2023.
  • News: A Spot and Stain surgery at our Edinburgh shop will announced.

Window Cleaning:

Ettore:

  • Availability is generally good
  • Pricing. Last price increase will likely last for the rest of 2022.

Pulex:

  • Availability is generally good
  • Pricing: Another price increase is not expected in 2022

Shurflo:

  • Availability of stock has at times been strained, with shortages of pumps at some times
  • Pricing: Fluctuations in prices may occur.

Spring Europe:

  • Availability is generally good
  • Pricing: Fluctuations in prices may occur, with a possible price review early 2023.
  • News: Link controllers are available with reduced features due to component supply issues.

Streamline:

  • Availability is generally good with a few short delays on some products
  • Pricing: An increase in prices is normally applied in January.
  • News: Not all products shown in the 2022 catalogue have been available. A number of yellow hose are being replaced with HIVIZ alternatives. The OVA8 pole continues to be very popular with new additions being added to the range.

SYR:

  • Availability is generally good
  • Pricing: New prices were recently introduced, so we do not expect another increase during 2022

Unger:

  • Availability is generally good
  • Pricing: A number of price increases have been applied during 2022. Prices are expected to be increased from the start of 2023
  • News: A number of new traditional window cleaning tools will be introduced in 2023. The new nLite pole range is expected to be relaunched soon with some improvements to the kit build.
